Last year we had 43 Area Pastors and Ministry Leaders from West Houston join millions of others in the nations of the earth to seek the Lord for our generation.

This year 225 million believers are expected in every nation of the earth to lift up their voices in praise and worship to the Lord and to seek him for -

• Revival in the Church
• Spiritual Awakening in Our Generation

Vision of the GDOP

The glory of Christ and the blessing of the nations.
“For the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” – (Habakkuk 2:14)

Mission of the GDOP

To do on a global level what we are already doing on a local level. To link up with Christians from all nations IN UNITED PRAYER AND REPENTANCE, and to collaborate as God’s instruments for the blessing and healing of the nations.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”2 Chron 7: 14

Why Are We Gathering?

The primary purpose we gather is for the glory of Christ and the blessing of the nations. To seek
God and exalt His Son for one reason only, because He is worthy. The day is approaching when everything will be subject to His glory. We are motivated by who He is not what we will get from our coming together.
We will keep the main thing the main thing—which is Jesus. We seek to honor Him at the prayer
gathering and in the planning process as well. He has called us to come before him “in all things
with prayer and thanksgiving.”

What the GDOP Is…

To meet as God’s united church to worship Him, seek His face and intercede for the transformation of our city. We seek God for revival, intercede on behalf of our world, and collaborate for the blessing and transformation of our cultures.

• Please advertise the event in your congregations and ministries.
• Inform other pastors, ministries and leaders you are in relationship with.
• Encourage your people to dress in their national attires, It is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the diversity of the Body of Christ.
• Encourage people of American descent who have visited other lands and cultures and may have those native attires to dress in them.

Pray Globally, Gather Locally!

Global Hearts provided the goods brought in on an 18 wheeler by Don, Robert (youth pastor) Lisa, his wife and Chelsea one of the teenagers from, Fairfield.River of Life Katy partnered with Katy Christian Ministries, Mosaic House of Prayer, Katy Pregnancy Help Center and Breath of Life Katy.

Robert and Falu spoke in English while Alex Vargas interpreted.The Spirit of God moved on the people as some wept, souls were saved, people healed and families reunited as prayer was said over the people.

It began with a vision to target the needy in west Houston but ended being a blessing to Houstonians in the Greater Houston area as bags were sent to the southwest area, the city of Brookshire and other areas of Houston.

One brother said “God has a sense of humor. My family was down to our last roll of toilet paper and then God sent you guys”.

Bro Falu said “We would never had been able to pull this off without our partners, we really appreciate Brother Bobby Rutherford, Randy Campbell, Debbie Stoddard and Denise.”
