Compassion Project
The date was November 15, 2008 and the temperature was 56 degrees but the good people at River of Life keep their commitment to be at THS by 10 am.

John and Carol Steel who spearheaded the project had spent a voluminous amount of time during the week purchasing materials, seeking professional advise and planning the strategy for the “Compassion Project”.

The idea was to take on one of the flower beds at Taylor High School and improve it.

“We are excited to have your church come to do this” Mr Youngblood, one of the assistant principals told Bro Falu and Sis Margaret, the Friday before the project.

About 30 people (including children) put aside their regular weekend program, to be the hands and the feet of Jesus in the Katy community.
